Q.Can you identify this Japanese maple?
I transplanted this last fall. It had bright red leaves. Leaves this spring were also red. This summer the leaves turned green, but kept red veins, stems and red border. Last week new red leaves emerged much larger than older growth.
Thanks,
Lynn Robinson
No one knows how many Japanese Maple cultivators there really are, but there are 700 unique cultivator that are in circulation.
It is likely a very difficult task to identify your trees variety.
