Dear Sir/Madam, The Edible flowers society of Pakistan is working to establish an edible flower garden to grow Rose, calendula, pansy, marigold, carnation, nasturtium & corn flowers to introduce the edible flowers as a healthy & tasty food. We are a small group of people over here in Pakistan and we have divided our members into six groups as mentioned below; 1) Calendula Group – 3 members – This group will grow Calendula flowers only 2) Pansy Group – 3 members – This group will grow pansy flowers only 3) Marigold Group – 3 members – this group will grow marigold only 4) Rose & Carnation Group – 3 members – this group will grow carnations & Roses only 5) Nasturtium Group – 3 members – This group will grow Nasturtium only 6) Cornflower Group – 3 members – This group will grow cornflowers only All groups will also preserve these flowers with an air drying method. Then every group will arrange parties inviting all members and students of educational institutions and food will be served with its grown flower only. The Best user of edible flower group will be awarded certificates of appreciation. One Solar flower dryer and mini distillery will also be erected in the garden for educational purposes. This is the 1st year plan of our society and the 2nd year plan will be prepared in the light of experience of the 1st year. There was a time when Lahore was known as the city of Gardens in the subcontinent but now it comes at no.i in the list of most polluted cities. With the addition of our garden, awareness for better food and environment will be created in the society. Kindly support our project by donating a grant for this project and becoming a partner. We will be grateful to you.
