Can You Harvest Wet Saffron Crocuses?

Question

Our saffron crocuses bloomed while we were out of town and then got rained on. Can we still harvest the saffron?

The stigmas are hard to separate when wet and the quality can be reduced. Be sure to air dry them before storing. Here is more information:
