Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just planted my garden last night when it was cooling off outside and I watered my garden this morning. I watered my squash around the ring of the hill and water got on the squash plant. Can the water be on the squash plant when it’s still shady in the morning? tisha

It will be fine, though I wouldn’t make a habit of it only because you want the water to dry up, which happens quicker in sunlight. You don’t want the plant leaves to continually stay wet, as this can lead to fungal issues later.
