Can Old Henna And Indigo Powder Enrich Garden Soil? Read More At Gardening Know How: Search Https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/sear

ci I’ve used henna and indigo powder for years to color my hair. I have about 2 pounds that are too old to use. Can I add one or both to the soil of my flower garden, to enrich the soil? I have perennials, including blue Hydrangeas, and Astilbe, and climbing roses. Thank you and best wishes for your safety. m. carpenter PS I’m not subscribing to your emails generally because my work is too intense.

There would be no issues with adding them to soil. Indigo extract is, sometimes, mixed with other ingredients that will beneficial to the soil. It may have some use in that regard.

Start with small amounts, as a test. Wait a week or two, and use more if the test shows no harm.
