Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have young tomato plants that have taken on their real leaves. I am using the bio dome system. The fertilizer I need has been delayed so I picked up some osmocote 14-14-14 plant food pellets. Can I dissolve them in water and apply to the water in the trays and, if yes, how much should I use?

If you still want to use the slow-release pellets, you can calculate how much you would need based on the package directions, halve that amount, put them into a container of water, and let them set until they dissolve.
