Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comAfter I trim the dead fronds off of my Bismarck Palm there are parts of it still attached to the trunk of the tree. Those “husks” fill up with dirt and other crud and start to come loose and pile off. My question is how far up the trunk can I trim off the unsightly Palm husks?

You should never trim any living growth from this palm. Only, fully, dead growth should be removed. Only those fronds that have changed brown, completely, should be removed.
