Q.Can I Trim Hydrangeas Now? In June?

Zone 55409 | enrique.barrera86 added on June 7, 2020 | Answered

I have a beautiful white hydrangea bush but the flowers are so heavy that they fall over and it makes the bush look sloppy. Can I trim it down now without hurting it?

You can. Just make sure to use clean shears.

You may, also, want to sample your soil. This can be an indication that silica is lacking in the soil.
