Can I transplant gladiolus once the spikes are growing?

The one location I planted glads in has sections of clay like dirt. The spikes have started, but I’m afraid they’re going to die because of the lack of drainage. I have them in another location and they’re doing well. I was wondering if I can move the ones that aren’t doing well.

I would recommend you leave the Gladiolus for now. Allow them to flower then naturally die down. Then I would lift the corms this fall to move.
Moving them now will most likely stress the flower to much and you would lose the Glads.
