Can I Transplant A Rhododendron Now (Nov. 7th)?

I have some old leggy rhododendrons that I would like to cur back and then transplant now (Nov.) rather than in the spring. Can I do that now?

Unfortunately, trimming will be best done in late winter, while transplanting needs to be done in spring. This will be done right as growth begins to be active.
