Q.Can I Start A New Banana Plant From Cutting A Stalk Part Of The Leaf?
The Banana house plant I have is easily 15 feet tall and appears to be healthy, but once in a while, a stalk sometimes crease and I have to end up cutting them off. Not sure why they’re not robust enough to not crease, but I’m hoping I can start new growth from the stems/stalks I cut off. Is this possible? Much appreciate any help I can get.

Dividing banana pups is the best way, but you certainly can try propagating from a cutting. You may be able to take a cane cutting. These articles should help:
