Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in Albuquerque, NM and have a Silver Leaf Vine that has gotten out of hand. It hasn’t been pruned in two years… It’s mid-June and I have just hacked it back to about 2′, cutting off all the flowers and dead wood. Obviously it can be invasive, but did I go too far too late in the season for it to survive?

I'm sure it will be fine. Most vines are vigorous and can stand hard pruning at off times.
