Q.Can I Pot My Peony Plants And Lily Trees Now And Replant In Spring?

Zone 10604 | Anonymous added on November 5, 2022 | Answered

We are selling our home and I want to take my peony plants and lily trees. We are in zone 7a and it is too late to move them to the new location as we are getting frost already. I would plan to store them in our garage which does not freeze and plant in April/May. What do you suggest?

You can store them in the garage as you suggest. Only water them about once a month to keep them from rotting. Plant outside at the new location after the danger of frost has passed.
