can i plant potted hostas out in august?

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and have bought 3 hostas which I potted on into larger pots. I wish to plant them in the garden on the August bank holiday weekend. Is this ok to do this then?

Yes, you can plant them out but take care to ensure to water regularly for the first couple of weeks.

Mulching can help with moisture retention.
