Q.Can I Plant Feather Reed Grass In A Container For My Patio Container Garden? If So, What Size Container?

I live in a cottage in a retirement community and have a very small patio. I am trying to create a container garden and am interested in putting a grass in a container . The area gets filtered light in the early morning; mid-morning sun and heavy shade in the afternoon. All of my plants are in containers on plant dollies. Am looking for a grass that will work in this setting; also need to know what size container. Thank you!

Yes you can grow it in a container but it can get 3 to 5 feet tall. Make sure the pot is a few inches wider than the circumference of the plant and the pot should be about twice as tall as the nursery container. The pot needs several drainage holes in the bottom. Here is more:
