Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a David Austin Constance Spry climbing rose that I want to put on the west side of the house – it does not have any soil so want to use a planter I have which is 100cm long x 40cm wide x 40cm deep. Would this be big enough for one plant and a clematis?

I don't believe that is deep enough. And it is so wide that excess moisture may congregate and cause root rot.
