Q.planting butterfly bush
Can I plant a butterfly bush in central Illinois now, which is zone 5 without harm to the plant? The plant has been growing in a pot…it is the smaller variety.

Yes, fall is a good time to plant the Butterfly Bush.
Make sure you water the plant well so that it will have time to become established before it goes dormant.
