Q.Can I grow melons in containers and what size?

Zone Wolverhampton | Anonymous added on March 21, 2020 | Answered

My query is about growing melons in containers. Having never grown a melon before I would appreciate advice. The variety is Emir, which is suitable for pots. I have just sowed the seeds, in the greenhouse, and the temperature is about 25 degrees now in the day time.

My questions are:

What size pot should I use? Circumference or space they need?
What sort of supports can I use for a pot?
How do you suggest watering?

Thank you for your help..
