Q.Can I eat produce if the plant has died?

Zone 68959 | abi.chere added on July 24, 2017 | Answered

I have a bunch of squash in my garden. Like a lot. But my spaghetti squash plant suddenly died recently. I think it may have been crushed by something falling it during a storm. So, my question is, can I still eat the squash when it turns the color it is supposed to be?
