Q.Can I Divide My Irises Now?

I should have divided my irises after flowering last year but never got around to it. I’m not sure if they are the bearded type but they do have a rhizome on the surface.

Really, they need to be divided right after flowering, but it won't kill them to be transplanted now. It might not flower this year, but it won't die. Here is an article that may help:
