Q.Can I Cut The Top Off Of A 7 Foot High Rubber Plant And Propagate It?
I have a rubber plant which has grown to 7 feet high and dropped most of the lower leaves. The top 18″ are very strong and healthy and I would like to cut this off to start a new plant. I have taken cuttings of side shoots before one of which has been very successful but two more which have failed. What is the best time of year to do this if it is feasible. Many thanks.
