Cutting Crape Myrtle During Blooming Season

ajdance5 added on July 17, 2015 | Answered

Can I cut off the low limbs of a crape myrtle during blooming season? I cut the top off my overgrown Crape in late December. When the limbs started growing back, I did not prune the bottom limbs. Now I have a giant blooming bush with the bottom limbs hanging all over the other bushes and flowers.
