can i cut potato plants when flowering?

Can I cut off my potato plants when they are flowering? My potato plants are flowering but doesn’t seem like there are any potatoes growing under the ground.

You can remove the flowers, but make sure to leave the leaves on the plant. The leaves will help produce the energy that will become the tubers you harvest.
