Q.Can I Cut Back A Tomato Plant That Is Spindly, But Growing Tall?
I received two small cherry tomato plants from a friend and I re-potted them. They are growing tall, but very spindly. They are producing some tomatoes, but I’m concerned about the stems being so thin. What can I do to help it produce a healthier base? I have to use pots to plant them in because I live in an HOA in Florida and they don’t allow gardens. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like they aren't getting enough light. See if you can place them where they will get more sun, 4 to 6 hours a day. Also make sure the pots are large enough. These articles should help:
