Can I Cut a Branch From a Fully Grown Dogwood Tree and Replant It?

I want to grow a row of dogwood trees on my balcony and want to know if I can cut branches from an existing tree to produce a new tree.

No, most trees do not propagate this way. However, you can take cuttings from the tree to root and grow them. Here is an article that you may find helpful:
