Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am not sure if the plants that are growing wild in my backyard are an old artichoke plant or wild cardoons. The leaves have a silvery appearance. I want to make cardoons, and I was wondering if I could cook the artichoke the same way.

I don't advise this, since it has been known to cause an extreme choking hazard. They need to be cut, peeled, and prepared correctly.
