Can I change a transplantable plant if I don’t take the soil around it?

Hello. I am interested in planting some adzuki beans. I would like to plant them now, as in my country (Portugal), it is said to be the correct time to do it. However, I have read that the adzuki plant is non transplantable, for which I should plant it on where I want it to be permanently.
However, I would like to plant quite a few until they grow just a bit and offer some to a friend, who would plant them in a garden, instead of a pot.
So, my question is, if I use some nursery bags (like the ones in the image), can I change the plants from a vase to ground, just by cutting the bag and placing the plant (without removing the soil already around its roots) in a right sized hole? Or will the plant be dead for sure?

What you can do is plant it in a cardboard container, or something that is marketed as biodegradable. This will allow you to transplant without disturbing the roots in any way. This would be the safest way to do so, since the container will dissolve in the soil after some time.
