Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI wish to extend a retaining wall that would extend past a number of coconut palms, which I would not like to remove. Can I just cover the bottom 900mm of the trunk without affecting the palms?

I have been taught that 4-6 inches is tolerable for the tree, but no more than 6″.
