Q.Can I bring my wilted impatiens back to healthy

Zone Northeastern pa | Mikemchugh added on August 19, 2015 | Answered

They were doing very well where they are planted but after a few particularly HOT SUNNY days, they wilted and haven’t come back. They are covered in buds. If I trim off the buds, will they come back or do we have to actually move them?

It will depend on the length of time the roots were without water or moisture.
You can move them into a shady area, trim back the damaged material and water the pot. Make sure the soil is damp but not soggy as this will cause root rot.
