Can I and how to germinate old pine seeds?

I have a few Mongolian pine cones, which are 15 years old. There are some seeds left in them and I would like to germinate the seeds and grow a tree from them. Can you tell me if they can be germinated, and if yes, how to go about it?

The likelihood that you would get anything to germinate after 15 years is minimal at best, but hey, it’s worth a shot. This article will help with germinating pine seeds: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/pine/how-to-grow-a-pine-tree-from-seed.htm [1]

If nothing else, you can try again with newer pine seeds.
