Q.Can horses and cattle eat Yucca plants

I live on a farm and we have horses and cattle. I would like to plant some yuccas near the farm house but am worried that the horses or the cattle could lean over the fence and eat them. If they did, would it make them sick or, worse still, kill them?

According to the ASPCA, yucca is toxic to horses. The clinical signs in grazing animals are liver disease and secondary photosensitivity:
