Can Freezias Be Grown Indoors?

I got a potted freezia in the spring, it flowered, then whithered, and I thought it was dead. I never had time to plant it in the ground, then it was about to frost, so I went about bringing in some of my plants and found that the freezia was growing and now is full green shoots of leaves. I have it in a north window. Should I still try to plant it outside, or do you think it will winter over in the house?
