Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comDried blood is water insoluble and garden has zero nitrogen, but I do not want to burn plants. Should I till it under, or sprinkle on top after planting seed? I am using Espoma brand 12-0-0.Other macro nutrients are in balance, and PH is neutral.
I previously used 10-2-8 (3 times last summer, fall, spring) to achieve balance of other nutrients (primarily K), because P was more than ample. N in this 10-2-8 is 90% from feather meal and meat meal, and is also water insoluble.
