Q.Can carrots be grown indoors all year round?

Zone I live in South Wales, UK | jim.rafferty added on October 1, 2015 | Answered

I want to grow carrots indoors in 10″ pots, as I restricted to the normal outdoor sowing season. Can they be planted all year around? What are the best varieties suited to pot growing, and is normal growing compost a suitable medium (I currently use a general peat free compost for my potted flowers)?

Yes, it is very easy to grow carrots inside. The pots and soil you have sound perfect! Any variety should do if the have enough sunlight, and they will not need fertilizer. Good luck!
