Can Apricot Trees Grow in Florida

I live 5 miles from the Gulf, in Clearwater, FL. During the summer, it’s humid just about every day with rain. Can I grow apricot tree here?

You can, but you need to find a low chill hour variety. They will need less cold to produce fruit. Here is a list of some varieties:

what does chill hours mean in regard to apricot trees
