Your jade will love it outside for the summer. It might even flower for you. For best results, give it a little time to acclimatize to the bright light — in other words, if it will be in the sun for part or all of the day, move it from indoors to its outdoor spot in 2 or 3 stages, with more light at each spot. A week in each position should be enough. Do the same thing in reverse when you bring it in for the winter.
