Also wondering if there is someone who grows tri-color, twisted trunk bougainvillea. Also, cardinal red coleus. Thank you

Bougainvillea and Coleus will do fine, but I'm afraid that your area does not receive enough chill hours to give the cherry tree proper dormancy. This will cause the tree to die prematurely, and grow poorly.

You are in zone 10a, but zones 9, 10, and 11 are usually lumped together. With that being said, this article will offer alternative flowering trees that will do well in your area.
