Q.Can A Flowering Spirea Shrub Branch Be Replanted To Create A New Shrub.

Zone 19734 | Anonymous added on May 24, 2024 | Answered

I cut Spirea branches last fall to place in boxwood containers for winter display. Branches begin to bud up and leaf out this spring and have now began to flower. Can these flowering branches be planted in containers or in ground to create a new shrub? Thanks

It sounds like they rooted. If so, they can be used to start a new shrub.
