Camellia Japonica Disease

I have a Camellia japonica and the buds on the plant start to form ok; however, they develop what appears to be some sort of disease as they are rotting from the center of the bud. It looks like they are being eaten by something. I have many camellias, and the rest are fine. It is only affecting this one plant every season. Can you please offer any advice?
