Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy elderly mum had a lovely potted Camellia bush, which sadly in the last few years wasn’t looked after only because mum was in poor health. That said, it always flowered and looked green/healthy. My mum passed away last year. I moved the plant to my house but everything has turned brown. There did seem to be a little bit of green growth on some of the leaves, but that seems to have gone to. Have I done something wrong/ I only added extra soil/potting compost to the pot and I’ve watered it. Can you advise me what to do?

It sounds like it is lacking in humidity. I would either mist it daily (or at least a few times a week) or set it on a pebble tray with water to raise the humidity around it.
