Q.Calla Lilies in a Container

crowsnest added on May 23, 2011 | Answered

Instead of digging up and storing the roots, can I just bring in the potted plant and store it in a dark place while I’m gone during the winter months? I’m usually gone for 6 months, so should I begin watering it and set it outside when I return?

Yes, you can. Once warmer weather returns, you can set the pot back outside and resume regular watering and fertilizing.
