calla lily care

I am living in Punjab in India. Here the climate varies in summer from 42C in day and 30C at night. In winters it is about 25C in day and 5C at night. For a few days there is threat of frost in Jan. when temp. touches 1C. I am trying to grow calla lily for last 5 to 6 years but got only 2 flowers in all these years. I have tried in all seasons, now when winter is about to set I have germination of calla after a rest of about 2 months. I grow in pots, get thick good foliage but no flowers. What can be done?

Try the dormant period method described in this article. Hopefully this will encourage them to bloom:

Providing a fertilizer that is high in phosphorus and low in nitrogen can also promote flowers:
