calla lily

My calla lilies are planted in a container. They bloomed fine for about 2 months but now the blooms have heavy large pods growing in them, weighing them down. What’s up with the pods? Can’t find pod information online. . . help!

These are the seedpods forming. As the pods mature, their weight will naturally bend the stem to the ground. Eventually, they will begin to turn yellow and become mushy, indicating they are ripe. At this point, you can harvest the pods for propagating additional plants. Otherwise, you can simply cut them off once they appear or cut the spent blooms just prior to their development.
