The bright, shiny, healthy green leaves are turning to a dull, ‘rust’ color….and the tips of the lily itself are turning brown and curling up. What am I doing wrong? I live in Fl and have them in direct sun?

The direct sun may be too much for the plants in your warmer climate.
Give them some shelter with the hottest part of the day.
