Calla Lilies

I want to know how to keep the deep purple color that the lilies came in.  The plants were received as a gift and they’re beautiful and dark purple. Will they stay that way or do I need to do anything special to help to keep the color? Also, the same for a purple hydrangea.

The colors in flowers result from pigments produced by the plant, which can be affected by temperature and light exposure. Soil pH can also affect this in some plants.
