Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comi have the above flowers in containers as well as in the garden. This year they had 50% flowers than normal and a few days after the flowers have opened, the beautiful bright colours changes to a terrable darky mixture of coloures.They also die down very quickly thereafter.
COULD IT BE THAT I HAVE TOO MANY BULBS IN A CONTAINER OR COUD IT HAVE SOMETHINH TO DO WITH THE PH OF THE SOIL. i MOSTLY UDDSE RAINWATER SO I DOUBT THAT WATER COULD BE THE PROBLEM. I FEED THEM ONVE A MONTH WITH PLANTFOOD FROM OUR LOCAL NURSERY.
please help !!

The longevity of blossoms can vary greatly due to weather and temperatures, even moisture levels. A crowded pot could also effect the health of the blossoms.
