calla lilies

Leaves are pale green, some yellow and blooms have stopped. Plants are in a 3 foot deep container, roughly 5 feet long with drainage holes 2 inches up from the bottom. Not sure if it’s lack of fertilizer or too much water.

How much sun is your calla lily getting? It enjoys sun and needs as much as possible. It also needs to stay moist most of the time and be fertilized regularly. You can check for moisture by inserting your finger into the soil. If it feels quite wet, then this is likely your problem. Fertilize monthly with an all-purpose fertilizer beginning in spring and continue throughout the growing season. Additional phosphorus, like bone meal, will help with flowering.
