Calla Lilies And Hardiness Zones

I live in zone 7b. I planted Calla Lilies in spring of 2015. 2 of the 3 planted that survived the first winter are huge and I want to divide them. How many rhizomes can / should I remove? Is it safe to leave the divided rhizomes implanted for 1 week before replanting?

I would not divide after the first winter. There will, only, be a few offsets. I would wait 2 or 3 years.
