calla lilies affliction

Question

Unable to find answers to what plagues my two calla lilies – Capt. Murano variety. After a short time, leaves have become very dark-colored and spadix are either dark or seemingly vanished with the exception of one bloom. Flowers are med red and spadix remain bright yellow. Increasingly, flowers appear “burned” or turning brown, like they were rotting. I’m unsure where to turn but was given to suspect anthracnose so am treating with bonomyl. Other than that, I’m lost. I would appreciate suggestions, please. And thank you greatly.

Have you overwatered or over fertilized your plant?

Do the leaves pull out of the plant easily? It could be root rot.
