Calathea Plant Wilting

What can I do if my calathea plant is drooping due to excess water in the compost? How do I get it back to its original position?

The quickest way to get the compost drier is to replace some of the soil on the outside of the rootball with dry soil. If the soil has dried out already and the plant is still looking droopy, there is a good chance that the plant may have developed root rot while it was too wet. Once the overwatering or root rot problem has been solved, it should perk back up.
